Darren Vogt is a lifelong conservative, public servant, successful entrepreneur, and dedicated family man with deep roots in northeast Indiana. He currently serves as Field Operations and Special Assistant to U.S. Senator Jim Banks and was elected to the Northwest Allen County School Board in 2023. Darren previously served 12 years on the Allen County Council, including six as its President. Darren brings decades of private sector experience to his time in public service. Demonstrating a strong track record in business ownership and local investment, he spent nearly 30 years owning the Darren Vogt Agency, Inc., served as an Area Manager for Allstate Insurance, and now owns DV Real Estate.
A proud graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School and Indiana University, Darren holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Management. He previously held Series 6 and 63 financial licenses.
Beyond his professional roles, Darren is deeply committed to his community. He is a long-time youth sports coach, former President of the IU Alumni Club’s local chapter, and has served on numerous boards, including Greater Fort Wayne Inc., Allen County Redevelopment, and Junior Achievement. He’s been instrumental in Charger Youth Football and Cheer, where he has helped fundraise and contribute to its current level of success. He’s also active in the Forest Glade Neighborhood Association and Pathway Community Church.
Darren and his wife Jennifer have been married for 32 years and have four children: Gaven (owner of Parlor Doughnuts and married to Mary), Carson (a firefighter and EMT), Parker (a freshman at Indiana University), and Nina (a sophomore at Carroll High School).
